Do you read the Sunday Paper?

Saturday I attended the Harris County Department of Education 25th Annual R.T. Garcia Early Childhood Winter Conference in Houston and got to see Steve Spangler. If you have not heard of him, YouTube him… (right now). Take a moment, open a new tab and watch a couple videos.

OK, isn’t he awesome! His presentation at the conference was great. He is funny, exciting, and guess what.. I GOT TO GO ON STAGE in front of 1,650 people! (thanks Mrs. Morgan!)

Here is the picture that was put into the HOUSTON CHRONICLE SUNDAY PAPER!!!

So are you ready for some more awesome news?

I’m the new ACEI Officer- SGA Representative! 🙂 How cool is that? I’m so excited to be in a student organization and I wish I had joined sooner. If it hadn’t been for my former professor (Mrs. Morgan) I wouldn’t even know about this opportunity to be an officer in ACEI (Association for Childhood Education International).

This semester is off to a great start!
